Position: Day Support Services Intern

Internship Responsibilities
Interns will actively participate in daily support services, assisting individuals with various disabilities to achieve personal goals and maintain independence. Responsibilities include:
- Supporting daily living activities
- Assisting clients with individualized care plans and goals
- Participating in structured group and individual activities
- Observing and supporting documentation and charting processes
- Working collaboratively with professional caregivers and healthcare staff
- Promoting dignity, safety, and emotional well-being
Requirements
- Commitment of 3–4 shifts per week, 6 hours per shift
- Genuine passion for serving individuals with severe disabilities
- Kind, compassionate, patient, and organized personality
- Ability to support daily activities and client care goals
- No night shifts and no conflict with academic schedules
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Stipend & Career Opportunity
- Stipend: $1,500 upon successful completion, based on good attendance and work performance
- Career Path: Exceptional interns may be considered for future employment opportunities
Supervision for Social Work Students
For Master’s level Social Work students, a qualified supervisor is available to provide professional supervision and mentorship in alignment with academic requirements.
