Our COVID-19 Response

Updated 12/22/2020

On Dec. 9, MDH released additional COVID-19 guidelines for adult day centers.  PMCC is following guidelines set my MDH for responding to confirmed cases of COVID-19 in our facilities.  Read about the protocols here.  Our care members will continue to have the choice between on-site services and alternative at-home services.

Any staff or members who have had any exposure to someone with COVID-19 should self-quarantine for 14 days before returning to our facilities.

Updated 10/04/2020

Peace of Mind Care Center is committed to protecting the health and well-being of our clients and staff.  In order to ensure the health and safety of our Care Center community, we have made some changes in our operations and procedures.

Alternative adult day services were approved by the Minnesota Department of Human Services in May 2020 (Bulletin #20-25-01).  We will be limiting the number of people who enter our facility by providing both in-center services and alternative in-home services.  Alternative service options are available Monday through Sunday.

Staff, volunteers, interns, clients, and anyone who enters our facility will be screen before entry. All staff and caregivers will be required to wear a mask during operations.  Clients and visitors will also be required to wear masks. If clients have respiratory concerns where masks may inhibit breathing, please contact us further and we can work with you to discuss the best solution.

Individuals exhibiting any respiratory symptoms in the past three weeks, such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, or sore throat will be restricted entry; in addition, we will also restrict those who have had contact with someone confirmed with COVID-19 or exhibited any of the symptoms above in the last three weeks.

Our Care Center will continue to follow the guidelines determined by the Center for Disease Prevention (CDC) and the Minnesota Department of Health and Human Services. We will provide updates as events unfold.

Thank you for your understanding.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”80px”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/6″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
